Conference events included: reports on the contribution of Academician A.S. Isaev in the development of remote sensing in forest science; plenary session; work of 2 thematic sections and poster session. The conference reviewed reports on the assessment of the current state of scientific and technical methods in the field of forest science and forestry, the use of new original approaches and technologies for the integrated analysis of satellite data and ground survey materials. Much attention in the conference reports was devoted to the development of projects based on web applications, information and analytical systems, automated services for monitoring changes in forest vegetation. The results of prospective studies on the processing methods and the use of satellite images of ultra-high spatial resolution, detailed aerial photographs from unmanned aerial vehicles are presented. The conference was attended by more than eighty forest science experts from Austria, Belarus, Vietnam and 31 regions of Russia.
